Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing botikato.com (the "Site") or engaging Botikato ("we", "us") for sourcing services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
2. Private sourcing
Botikato is a private sourcing house. All listings on the Site are illustrative; availability, allocation and final pricing are confirmed in writing on a per-piece basis. No order is binding until we issue a written confirmation and receive cleared funds.
3. Authenticity
Every piece is authenticated by our specialists prior to dispatch. We provide provenance documentation on request. We are an independent house and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the maisons whose pieces we source.
4. Payment & delivery
Payment terms, currency, shipping incoterms, customs duties and delivery windows are agreed in your written confirmation. Title passes on receipt of cleared funds. Risk passes on collection by the carrier.
5. Returns
Given the bespoke and allocated nature of our service, confirmed orders are non-refundable except where the piece is materially not as described, in which case we will exchange or refund at our discretion.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, images, marks and code — is owned by Botikato or its licensors and may not be reproduced without prior written consent. Third-party brand names are used solely for descriptive identification of the pieces sourced.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Botikato's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any engagement is limited to the value of the piece concerned. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London.
